Whether a line is new, moved, or just slower than it should be, the question is always the same: where does the flow stop, and what does that stop cost per year. Ob eine Linie neu ist, verlagert wird oder einfach langsamer läuft als sie sollte, die Frage ist immer dieselbe: wo steht der Fluss, und was kostet dieses Stehen im Jahr.
Cycle times, line balance, work in progress, operator idle time during automatic cycles. The output is not a report, it is a ranked list: what to change first, what it costs, what it returns. Taktzeiten, Linienbalance, Bestände, Wartezeit der Werker während der Automatikzyklen. Ergebnis ist kein Bericht, sondern eine Rangfolge: was zuerst, was es kostet, was es bringt.
Moving a line is the easy half. Requalifying it, closing the documentation gaps and getting it back into series production without the customer noticing is the work. I have done it thirty times over. Eine Linie umzustellen ist die leichte Hälfte. Sie zu requalifizieren, die Dokumentationslücken zu schließen und ohne Kundenmerkbarkeit zurück in Serie zu bringen ist die Arbeit. Dreißig Mal gemacht.
I build the small tool that answers the actual question instead of buying a platform that answers forty others. Runs locally, GDPR-compliant, and on a phone in the aisle if that is where it is needed. Bottleneck, realistic capacity per shift, lead time, and what a given improvement is worth per year. Calculated in front of you, not emailed later. Engpass, realistische Kapazität je Schicht, Durchlaufzeit und was eine Verbesserung im Jahr wert ist. Vor Ort gerechnet, nicht später per Mail.

Overall responsibility for industrialisation. Around thirty lines pulled in from four countries across four product areas, from a single manual workstation to 90 percent automated assembly, requalified and brought into series. The plant grew from an empty hall to 650 people, the engineering organisation from nobody to fifty, including recruiting, team lead structure and the qualification system. Gesamtverantwortung Industrialisierung. Rund dreißig Linien aus vier Ländern über vier Produktbereiche geholt, vom manuellen Arbeitsplatz bis zur zu 90 Prozent automatisierten Fertigung, requalifiziert und in Serie gebracht. Das Werk wuchs von der leeren Halle auf 650 Mitarbeitende, die Engineering-Organisation von null auf fünfzig, inklusive Recruiting, Teamleiterstruktur und Qualifizierungssystem.
A complete supply chain relocation of the spindle drive production from a Czech supplier: documents, drawings, SAP numbers, parts purchasing, gap analysis and integration into the quality system. Five lines running within twelve to fourteen months, later extended to eight. Core team of six. Komplette Lieferkettenverlagerung der Spindelantrieb-Fertigung von einem tschechischen Lieferanten: Dokumente, Zeichnungen, SAP-Nummern, Teileeinkauf, Gap-Analyse und Integration ins QM-System. Fünf Linien in zwölf bis vierzehn Monaten in Betrieb, später auf acht erweitert. Kernteam von sechs.
Quality defects in injection moulding and painting on the Macan had blocked every new project. I was single point of contact by order of top management, in a field that was new to me, so I worked into it systematically and set up two joint workshops with customer and supplier. The IATF re-audit passed and the block was lifted. Qualitätsmängel bei Spritzguss und Lackierung am Macan hatten alle Neuprojekte gesperrt. Ich war Single Point of Contact im Auftrag des Top-Managements, fachlich Neuland, also systematisch eingearbeitet und zwei gemeinsame Workshops mit Kunde und Lieferant aufgesetzt. IATF-Re-Audit bestanden, Sperre aufgehoben.
From data capture to evaluation: an ingestion pipeline, an ontology and taxonomy on top of it, and a retrieval pipeline with tool use querying a locally hosted model. The electronic lab notebook restructured so that measurement data arrives in a form you can actually evaluate. Plus six interactive learning simulators, built rather than commissioned. Von der Datenaufnahme bis zur Auswertung: eine Ingest-Pipeline, darauf Ontologie und Taxonomie und eine Retrieval-Pipeline mit Tool Use gegen ein lokal gehostetes Modell. Das elektronische Laborbuch so umstrukturiert, dass Messdaten auswertbar anfallen. Dazu sechs interaktive Lernsimulatoren, selbst gebaut statt beauftragt.
In March 2020 I presented the compact spindle drive production line in Košice to a delegation of the Slovak Ministry of Economy, led by the deputy prime minister and the minister of economy. Works offline on a phone, because shop floors rarely have usable Wi-Fi. No install, no account.
